ACDE speaks against racism

ACDE speaks against racism

The Association of Canadian Deans of Education (ACDE) supports equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice through education as a core value for all members and for our Canadian education community. ACDE stands in solidarity with all those who are protesting racism, inequality, and injustice. ACDE calls upon those in positions of power and privilege to question their own privilege; to acknowledge that their privilege comes at the expense of black people, Indigenous people, and other marginalized peoples; and to act in ways that will reduce systemic racism and promote equity in Canada.
