22 Aug CSSE 2024: Call for proposals for the Sherman Lecture
July 30, 2023 | Each year at CSSE, ACDE presents the Sherman Lecture in honour of our late colleague, Dr. Ann Sherman, who was Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of New Brunswick at the time of her death. Past Sherman Lectures may be viewed on our YouTube channel.
ACDE members are invited to submit the names of their nominees to deliver the 2024 Sherman Lecture. Nominees’ scholarly work should align with Ann’s wide-ranging research interests, generosity of service, and commitment to education in Canada. The topic of the lecture should address leadership, women in education, science education, Indigenous education, early learning/early childhood, teacher education, anti-racist education, or another, related topic that was of significance to Ann.
CSSE’s 52nd annual conference dates are Wednesday, June 12 (preconference day) to Monday, June 17 (postconference day).
