Pedagogies of Decolonization and Reconciliation in Post-Secondary Education is a full-day event at Congress 2017 sponsored by the Canadian Critical Pedagogy Association and the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
As part of the day-long event, organizers are currently accepting submissions for an afternoon session that will highlight and celebrate effective and innovative approaches to decolonizing and Indigenizing teaching and learning practices in post-secondary classrooms across a wide range of academic disciplines.
Proposals are being sought for two types of presentations, as part of an adjudicated process. You may apply to have your submission considered for one or both of the following formats: Firelighting Session and Pedagogical Showcase.
Proposals are to be submitted to pedagogies.of.reconciliation@gmail.com by February 5, 2017.
Please read further for information.

Sep 13 at 09:25Is there a way to access information from past presentations? I am new to CSSE but would benefit greatly from having access to who presented, what they presented, if they are published, etc. Is there a follow up library on this site anywhere or does info only get sent to those who attended?
Thank you!!

Sep 13 at 12:04Hello Sacha: You can view the past programmes for 2017 and 2018 on the CSSE Web site under conferences. Please locate in the right-hand column for each year, the Web version of the APP. If the authors provided an e-mail address you will be able to discover that e-mail address by clicking through.
As this site is new, we have not populated with the programmes from previous years. Tim (csse-scee@csse.ca)
